Enrique Prieto Flores ’02GSAS

Founder and CEO of Key Capital, a Civil Engineering firm specialized in the design and the legal and financial structuring of infrastructure projects. The firm has recently designed or managed some of the largest infrastructure projects in Mexico such as the Tren Maya, Acueducto el Cuchillo II, Ferrocarril de Refinería Dos Bocas, etc. B.A in Economics from Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes, B.A. in Law from UVEG, MA in Statistics from Columbia University and PhD from Universidad Anáhuac.

Ana Isabel Vásquez Colmenares ’02GSAS

Ana Vásquez Colmenares Guzmán has served as head of the Oaxaca Women’s Secretariat and the Secretariat of Cultures and Arts in the same state. A professor at ITAM for 17 years, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science. A lifelong student and learner, she pursued, with scholarships from the Ford, MacArthur, and Fulbright foundations, two master’s degrees at Columbia University in New York. More recently, she graduated with master’s degrees in Gender, Law, and Criminal Procedure from the Center for Postgraduate Studies, as well as in Public Administration and Government from the Benemérita University of Oaxaca.

Aurora Adame ’99SIPA

Career diplomat, member of the Mexican Foreign Service, and expert in Corporate Affairs, with 14 years in leadership positions with regional and global reach in AAA companies and banking. Extensive cross-functional knowledge and proven experience in: Government Relations, Communication (traditional media, social media, and digital), Lobbying, Social Responsibility, and Crisis Management. Spokesperson representing companies and their CEOs before media, forums, and international organizations. Excellent networking with C-level executives, authorities, and decision-makers. Solid academic background in Mexico and abroad. Fluent in three languages.

Héctor de la Cruz Ostos ’98SIPA

Héctor Esteban de la Cruz Ostos is the new head of the Operational Administration Secretariat of the Federal Administrative Justice Tribunal. He has built an extensive career in public administration and policy, spanning over two decades with significant roles in various Mexican government sectors. Educated with a law degree from UNAM and a Master’s in Public and Administration from Columbia University, he has also engaged in legal and advisory roles across sectors like agriculture, governance, and communications, showcasing a robust expertise in public policy and administration.

Alejandro Schtulmann ’02SIPA

He is a founding partner and president of Emerging Markets Political Risk Analysis (EMPRA), a political risk advisory and consulting firm focused primarily on Mexico and Latin America. Founder and CEO of Advanced Intelligence Solutions (AIS), a consulting firm specializing in business continuity, protective intelligence and technology in Mexico and Latin America. He has a B.A. in International Trade and Business from the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM). He earned a M.Sc. in Economic Development from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) of the University of London and a MIA in International Political Economy from the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) at Columbia University.

Rodrigo García Moncada ’07Law School

Rodrigo is a corporate and transactional attorney with over 20 years of experience. He is currently Partner at Fisher Broyles. In 2021 he founded law+dgtal, and previously he worked at Curtis Mallet Prevost Colt & Mosle, Baker & Mckenzie and DLA Piper. He earned his LL.M. from Columbia Law School (2007) and his law degree from UNAM (2004).  Since 2018, he teaches Corporate Governance and Compliance at Escuela Libre de Derecho.  Rodrigo is also the Chairman of the Corporate Governance Committee of Fundación Scholas México, A.C., which belongs to Scholas Occurrentes, an international network created and promoted by Pope Francis.

Gustavo Sauri ’01SIPA

Gustavo holds a master's degree in economics from Columbia University and a doctoral degree in political and social sciences with a focus on international relations from UNAM, where he also completed his undergraduate studies in economics. He is currently a full-time research professor at Anáhuac University in Mexico and a member of the National System of Researchers. He has been a consultant for the IFC of the World Bank and a board member of various civil society organizations.

Javier Cobos ’00SIPA

25 year experience in Public Finance, former Associate Director at Standard & Poors, former Inter American Development Bank. Managing Partner at Lexonomics. B.A in Economics, Master of Public Administration from SIPA, Master of Private Equity from Investors Mexican Association, Master of Law and Regulation from ITAM.

Pablo Ampudia ’23SIPA

He is a public policy and legal professional with over a decade of experience spanning the judiciary, foreign policy, and consulting. Educated with a law degree from Universidad Panamericana and a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University, he has held key roles at the Mexican Supreme Court, the Council on Foreign Relations, and consulting firms working with the U.S. government. He recently returned to Mexico City from Washington, D.C. to join InStrag, a government affairs consulting firm, where he advises private sector clients on navigating Mexico’s regulatory and political landscape, bringing robust expertise in institutional strategy, legal analysis, and public affairs.

Sonia Vera Riquelme ’07CBS

Sonia Vera is the founder of Astra Capital, a platform focused on financing nearshoring-driven expansion projects. She currently serves on the boards of CKD FCI Infraestructura, Cerpi BlackRock, and Merited, a K–12 education platform. With over 20 years of experience across Latin America and the U.S., Sonia has led strategic initiatives in private equity and investment banking, including her role as CFO at Discovery Americas, a $700M private equity fund. She holds a B.A. in Economics from ITAM and an MBA from Columbia Business School, and is an active member of 50/50 Women on Boards, Women Corporate Directors, and ITAM’s Women’s Initiative Leadership Program.

Andrés Sada ’16CBS

Andrés Sada is a fintech and operations leader with experience across startups & multinationals He is currently Head of Growth at Caliza, where he drives expansion in Mexico and around the world. Prior to this, he was Chief of Staff to the CEO of Elektra USA and led the launch and operation of a digital remittance app. His earlier roles span project leadership, procurement, and public policy at companies like Envases, AB InBev, and Mexico’s Ministry of Finance. Andrés holds a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
